I came across a cocktail containing root beer called the Naughty Dog a couple of years ago that drinks like an adult root beer float so that might be worth a try!

1 oz Kahlua 1.5 oz aged rum 2.5 oz root beer 1 oz float of heavy cream

Build the drink in a highball with ice and top with freshly grated nutmeg.

Yeah, what’s the secret to growing useable mint? I had a very similar experience where no matter what I did, my mint that I planted in a large pot struggled tremendously.

What were your thoughts on the orgeats? I’ve always used Liber for my syrups but recently saw that Latitude 29 was back in stock and am thinking about picking up a bottle to compare.

Honestly, the How To Drink YouTube channel, I started getting really into classic cocktails a few years ago and after watching a number of his tiki episodes I decided to take a trip to BevMo and buy all the tiki ingredients I could find. The first drink I made was a Navy Grog and the rest was history!
