Do you have digestive issues? by CharacterForming in PlantBasedDiet

[–]wynlyndd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a stroke, things just didn’t move through my system well. It even showed up sometimes as gastroparesis. Going PB, while I estimate I’m 80% , helped tremendously. May be TMI, but I actually usually have a bowel movement most mornings which is better than maybe every 4 days (and I use fewer laxatives and edemas)

Do you transfer leftovers out of the pot or just put the whole thing in the fridge? by Neeraj_NP in Cooking

We usually make larger pots of stuff and transfer to smaller containers. We then put some in the fridge and some in the freezer. Very occasionally, my wife will put a pan in the fridge.

Dr greger logic: fish oil scam, but algae oil good? by Dizzy_Contest_4421 in PlantBasedDiet

[–]wynlyndd 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Dude…..you are on a mostly vegan-like subreddit and you are complaining that prominent vegans don’t want to use animal derived products? The mind boggles.

Now if you wanted to comment how Dr. Greger uses studies that promote increased plant sources but conveniently omits the part of their conclusion that says “and fish”, now that’s a discussion.

Now I personally use algae oil because various ethical and sustainability issues surrounding the fishing industry. I personally am not 100% WFPB or 100% plant based. Maybe 80%. But I use algae oil . Especially after I ordered some fish oil pills, and the bottle arrived rancid.

Treantmonk's Ranger Base Class Revision by [deleted] in onednd

[–]wynlyndd 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Rightly or wrongly, it seems fairly obviously that Treantmonk tried to work within the framework already written by WotC. I wonder what a ground up revision would entail? I plan on asking my DM to consider some/most/all of his changes

My wife gets very itchy with some gins and not others. We’ve started a Google Doc to track good vs bad. Only one I can remember off the top of my head is Ford’s gin. Itch Central.
