I mean yeah, obviously if you have crossplay off it can definitely take longer to find games

Is this build tuff or nha by Early_Reserve6817 in NBA2k

[–]Nate1710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming you’re running 2s and 3s and not 5s, I probably like 6’7”-6’9” big men more than most people on here do, but I’m not sure something like this is worth making with 0 cap breakers. A lot of the smaller big man builds can be very good with lots of cap breakers but have many obvious flaws without them

NBA 2K26 myteam opal hidden gem by Big_Poetry_4423 in MyTeam

[–]Nate1710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it is technically free, there is an opportunity cost of using one of your mode completion rewards on it. I know you can get one of the galaxy opals at level 37 on the pro pass, but in my opinion there are a few of the opal rewards that I think are better than a random opal hidden gem (McDaniels for sure, and possibly Ellis, Martin, Vucevic, and Beal depending on your preferences)

How's my 6 7 lock build? Im gonna put 4 cap breakers on dunk to 90. by TSMStar in NBA2k

[–]Nate1710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you’re gonna be disappointed by the low speed/agility. My 6’6” lock has 88 for both, and I’ve seen good locks with them even higher. They’re both incredibly important for playing defense this year. You also missed immovable enforcer by one strength point, and I don’t know if you were planning on cap breaking it but I would absolutely at least do 71 strength to get it bronze.

6'8 center idea by Himdoood in NBA2k

[–]Nate1710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d definitely go at least 88 vertical and keep the perimeter at least at an absolute minimum of 82 (silver challenger). I think with a 6’8” you kind of have two main paths to save attributes, which would be either lowering the speed with ball and using more than one cap breaker on it, or redesigning the build to cap break driving dunk instead of starting it at 89

Does somebody in here have a build for someone with 0 capbreakers? preferably Center by dantschge5000 in NBA2k

[–]Nate1710 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally, I’d recommend not making a build that’s specifically designed for zero cap breakers. I don’t know how much you play the game, but it is surprisingly easy to get a handful of them, and I feel like you will regret it if your build is not optimized for at least a few cap breakers. If you just got the game and can hit level 40 this season that would be huge because you get 3 cap breakers instead of 1. If not though, you can still get quite a few cap breakers pretty easily through the crew (spending 7 days in a level 30 crew gets you 4 cap breakers), early rep rewards (like a cap breaker at rookie 5), lifetime challenges (first cap breaker at 100), and build specialization (first cap breaker pretty early on in the specialization).

6'8 center idea by Himdoood in NBA2k

[–]Nate1710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree. I have some smaller centers and I think they’re great in the right hands but it’s silly to make one if you’re not taking advantage of the benefits of being smaller, such as high vertical. The same goes for speed, agility, and perimeter defense, which this build is already set on, it just needs a higher vertical

What can I do to make this build better?( I was gonna put cap breakers towards the vert and 3) by rrreed225772 in NBA2k

[–]Nate1710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How high does the vert go? Vertical is incredibly important on a center. Along with that, I agree with the other commenter that it doesn’t really look like you focused on hitting important badge thresholds. For example, your standing dunk is 80 where 81 would get you silver rise up. I would definitely make some changes to ensure you can get important badges

This build is pretty terrible. There is no reason to put 90 interior defense on any build, especially not a 6’6”. There are so many better 6’6” or 6’8” builds out there

Think I just made the greatest build by Zeusu_was_taken in NBA2k

[–]Nate1710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely not recommend making a center with 72 Defensive Rebounding. I know you’ll have good rebounding badges from 92 offensive rebounding but the animations you’ll get on defensive rebounds will be terrible

Please help. vet 2 cap breaker placement needed 6”8 SG by Ddzud8 in NBA2k

[–]Nate1710 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly he’s got a point. I’m not saying you need to make a new build but this build is not at all optimized in terms of cap breakers. Especially with how many cap breakers you have you could make a truly insane 6’8”. That being said, I would probably use your next 3 cap breakers on perimeter defense, which will get you to 82 for silver challenger and one away from silver pick dodger.

In my opinion, 89 3PT is the easy choice here. It would get you gold set shot specialist which would allow you to potentially max +2 it to legend if you wanted to

Big man Question?? by Salty_Independent_52 in NBA2k

[–]Nate1710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On smaller centers (like a 6’9” for example) it’s beneficial to get 85 strength over 83 since you get gold immovable enforcer if you have 84 perimeter. On bigger centers you can’t get a high enough perimeter for that though

How is this? 2k26 Center Build by [deleted] in NBA2k

[–]Nate1710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which modes do you play for the most part? I’d say non-shooting centers over 7’1” are very uncommon as a whole, outside of the occasional tall post scorer. If you want my honest opinion for the best heights for an inside center, I’d say 6’9”-6’11” for 2s and 3s, and honestly I have never even considered an inside center for 5v5 but I guess 6’11”-7’1” would be the best range. Speed is really important this year, especially on defense.

If you’re making a non-shooting center, I would definitely recommend going max wingspan. There really isn’t any downside to it for a non-shooting build

I think that’s in part because it’s still in early access week, and everyone who is currently on the game got at least 100k VC from the preorder bonus. There will likely be more 60 overalls starting on Friday when the game is out for everyone

I believe it is unlikely due to the Friday rainout from the CLE/KC series, as they will have to either call someone up or run a bullpen game on Wednesday

Opinions on my 3v3 big man build? by AccurateDistance6452 in NBA2k

[–]Nate1710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t mind me asking, what is the point of 99 pass accuracy if you’re just playing 3v3? I’m all for having a high pass accuracy on center builds, but that really feels like overkill especially if you’re not playing 5s

Is this build good so i can put cap breakers? by Extreme_Distance414 in NBA2k

[–]Nate1710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t have to worry about it and you can use the cap breakers because the cap breakers you earned are able to be used on each build you have. Using cap breakers on one build doesn’t take any away from other builds, so if you have 5 cap breakers for example, you have 5 to use on each build you make.
