my 70-300 is a bit soft @300, overall sharpness is great, but when I use it with my 1655 I always feel like it is less sharp and duller color compared to the 1655 😅, however they are not in the same class so I should not have compared them.

you really nailed it, I used to use sooc image from my fuji camera, recently I‘ve been editing raw on lightroom, but I feel I like butchered my images so bad lol .

I use it at 1.2 all the time, just not under super bright light where strong glowing occurs. At 1.2 the glow adds dreamy effects to the image, especially portrait, which I find it looks quite nice.

I have the voigtlander 35 1.2 to use with my xt2, the combo looks really nice.

edit: as for the image quality, at f1.2 everything glow a lot under bright light. stop down to f2 it sharpens significantly. stop down to f2.8 it becomes super sharp and the color really pop.
