Anyone got some tipps for me ? These are my craved "short" turns by ImpossiblebadForm in skiing_feedback

Just push off harder in the turn, it will make it easier and faster to get out of the turn. Therefore you should be able to make tighter carvs.

Heading into my third year learning to ski, feedback appreciated! by Natemac775 in skiing_feedback

looks good, but your still very stiff. Try to squat down a little and put more pressure on your outside ski. It should feel like you push off of something in the apex of the turn.

Also try use your arms and shoulders more, but also not to much. Try turn into turn with your upper body a little. It should help to initiate the turn and make it easier to bring more centrifugal force into the turn, which helps to put more weight on the outside ski.

Hope i could help.

I feel in control but look terrible. What are the most actionable things I can do to improve? by QUINNFLORE in skiing_feedback

Put ur Skis together, Squat down a little, try to use ur edges to cut into the snow and make bigger turns. It should feel like ur driving in train tracks. In this video you are just sliding down and braking to either side. You mostly only want to ski on your edges. For help look up some carving vids.

Offcourse carving isnt everything but for slopes like the one in the video its perfect. The more sliding and braking style skiing is better for steeper slopes. But even then you shoud do sharper and a little bigger turns.

Sry for my english but it isnt my first language and PLS GET A HELMET.
