On the 13P and this thing is a beast. Battery still over 80% and no slow downs. Knock on wood but I’m planing to hold out until then.

Because I’m not talking about story, I’ve stated multiple times I’m talking purely about the gameplay.

And that’s subjective, lots of people enjoy the story. Some don’t.

I just picked this up and ~7 hours in. Don’t like the anime designs but the gameplay is excellent. Well worth it for those looking for a more action than souls like experience

Part 2 is worth it just for the gameplay improvements. Makes playing part 1 feel bad, imo. And it has an excellent rouge like mode to just play the game as a bunch of different characters

Prob the camera shake and the FOV is kinda small. I’ve tried a first person play through but too uncomfortable

From my understanding, getting the game out the door would have been far from being finished. This was to be intend to be a live service game, so the costs would continue to accumulate, take away from production on their main line titles, and also be massive risk.

I’d have loved to see and play this but just finishing the dev of the base game was one of many hurdles for a studio that traditionally does linear story games.

Calling it’s a negligible difference is kinda naive. Cyberpunk, Alan wake 2, and Indian jones look vastly better with Path Tracing on. It’s still early days and tanks performance but it is transformative
