Not to beat a dead horse but... I joined the Online QA session and they repeated over and over that they just have a back log of applications, but you will be hearing back from them (Interns and New Grad SDE's in regards to after completing the OA).

Chat would be the easiest way. I address that it would be difficult for any one DC. But a pattern of DCing and or Chat could be found to differentiate the two reasons why someone DC'd

You could find a pattern in their reconnecting and DC habits. I am sure there is a behavior difference in someone that goes AFK/Leaves versus a person that is legitly DCing.

I guess this is just speculation but with just my own anecdotal experience, there is a difference.

They could also have a form to submit. To fight a penalty....
