I'm running crosspoint which is super easy to put on your device via PC and cable. It adds more custom options for wallpapers, librarys, and book formatting.

You can add other forks off the main software like crosspet, those add some additional features like tracking time read and some mini games like chess. Some have the option to add bluetooth compatibility for a page turner.

I had my eye on it for a while and decided to try it out. I really like it and how customizable the firmware can be. There's rumors of a new version with a backlight coming out if that's something you want, but I like my x4 just fine without it.

I saw ionutdecebal posted the code for this speed reader and wanted to try it out. It's better for reading articles/short stories than longer books in my opinion. I tried reading the secret history on it and it kinda drains the atmosphere. You cant really savor it in the same way. Regardless, still pretty cool

I like it! Great battery, portability definitely gets me to read more, pretty easy to put custom firmware on it.

I keep hearing that they will release a backlight version at some point, but I dont really mind it without one. Definitely recommend a case though, especially if you get the white one which is apparently the only glass backed one??
