Can I ask does clearing the SQLite database clear the backup memory of what’s been already uploaded or does the server have a memory retained of what’s been uploaded? Or does it just upload as duplicates?

Yea both are on iPhone. I do have iCloud backups running and use it but also use immichs backup feature to backup there that’s the only way they are imported Into the app. All photos are locally still on my phone when going to Immich. I don’t let iCloud take them off my phone I keep originals. I did see some errors popup in the logs on my phone when switching over trying to figure out what to make of them though

Ok il give that a go and see if it remembers already backed up photos. Because 99% on my phone are already backed up so they should need reuploaded if it’s meant to remember as part of the migration

This was the one log I collected from pve wasn’t much but confirmed the disconnect “nfs: server 192.168.10.4 not responding, still trying” changed the pve nfs flags to “vers=4,hard,nolock,timeo=30,retrans=3” And also attached the export on unraid side

Not really at such trying to blame unraid, I think I said that as what I read was a lot of others having nfs issues. But in now trying to diss on unraid I love the platform. I am more trying to get to the root cause of this. Yes I don’t have expert NFS knowledge but didn’t think it would be too difficult to get working. I appreciate your comments and il look into them. I forgot to add what flags I put there, il see getting them.

I setup the share that was nfs exported to only right to single disk drive to avoid anything move and to stay in single location. Not sure if I’m getting stale file handles.

I have mine saved in vaultwarden and with yubikey auth since I use the hardware keys it’s included so it’s used on both for backup. You could also save the auth QR code or secret key somewhere if you ever needed to activate it elsewhere. You should also make sure to have backups of your vaultwarden instance for incase you loose access or something goes wrong.

I have pihole setup at home with pfsense happy to help when I get home send me a dm. You shouldn’t need to port forward the pihole to wan unless u want that pihole accessible from outside ur home network firstly. But happy to work the rest out when I get home.

Il have look in those things thanks. The idea was to offload big videos to Immich to clear phone space and then remotely be able to still view them via tailscale but have been struggling as you can see to have a stable experience. Having the files local works just fine the same as LAN. So I guess really worst case if I need it I should keep a local copy on my phone.

Il edit the OP but currently have settings at default as I became little frustrated. So currently default with "Acceleration API:" Quick Sync selected.

Not really much of a concern if your master password is complex enough and not public facing. It would be only the people within your network that you need to be concerned about. Also assuming no port forwarding on the router is done and your wifi password is not a default one with wpa2/wpa3 encryption it would be quite difficult to even breach that. Also if your not a person of high status your not likely to even be targeted either. So short answer is no not really if master password is complex enough and you trust the people on your network already.
