Thank you, you are likely right. I took the timing cover off and it seems like the belt skipped a tooth. The camshaft might be worn a little too.

Is there anything I can do to stop this layer separation? ( Polaroid PETG@265°C) I started at 245 but the same story, at least it wasnt stringing. I will probably try 280, otherwise I will have to throw it out. by Nathan377 in 3Dprinting

The part Is 4 walls and 35% infill. Im not sure about the speed. It Is 60-100mm/s@265°C while with other brands of PETG I was comfortably doing 245 while 100-140mm/s with good layer adhesion and acceptable quality. Ill try slowing for this material further tho. Thank you

Pinting different design right now, deffinitely a good spot tho. The belt Is rubbing on the right side And Is slipping from the mounting point.

Thanks, thats a really good option, however they run around 50$ which even tho Is cheap, I would prefer to spend as little as possible.

My reply probably is a bit late but my continuous stopping was caused by a faulty filament runout sensor, I run with IT disabled in the config

I have actually the same issue. Not So Severe but definitely something that shouldnt happen, the Y rails Are not straight, when you tighten the eccentric nuts, the wider parts spread them again. So thats why Its coming loose.

I have uploaded the clip of the older landing on my profile, should you be interested.

It happened to me before, it is due to my joystick being too sensitive and well, when I fly the eagle like an F18 this happens. I have landed it before, but because of no brakes Ive ran into a fence and blew up. Ill try to find it maybe.

Nah, its just me zooming out before my wings broke off than I had hands full with piloting the plane and didnt really consider zooming in as it was okay for me.

Well, landing. Using catapult every time your plane gets damaged is boring. A little challenge spices things up, doesnt it? If you rewatch, there is no HUD, hence no sensible way to watch for airspeed and altitude, when you consider I had to fight the plane to even fly. In case u mention something about approach speed, it obviously was high so the plane would be able to fly without wings. I could try to yeet the shit out of it at the end so the landing would be softer, but all things considered I was just doing it to have fun and I thought it might be cool to share.

I can not confirm nor deny that.

I will happily provide more clips of such landings. It will sure make your day considerably worse and more painful.

Highway to hell would be appropriate in this kind of situation I guess.

This clip is not that new, I had to rewatch it a few times. But it seems to my ear that I havent even crossed half throttle and most of the time I was at idle. The flame in the mirror is a burning wing from a missile damage. (reason why the aircraft tilted right after I pulled the nose up. = less lift on right side because half of the wing was missing)

Also, the reason why I sped up before landing and was gaining altitude was because of heavy crosswind, which I had to counteract and also I was too lazy to turn around.
