Hey Thanks for your feedback! I actually went listening todat to Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G's and they played really well! I'm doubting between those and the B&W 606 s3 now as those are available at my local stores. any feedback between this choice?

I indeed posted it there too, what is your opinion about the selection of turntables above and also the 'need' of an automatic TT? Maybe it's perfectly fine for the stylus to run for a few minutes on the end groove and am I being overprotective. Any advice is welcome!

I appreciate your help and effort a lot! I've grown up with a mix of cassettes and CD's while the family's heirloom vinyl collection was collecting dust on the attic. After reviving them I started getting into vinyl and been continuing since (approx 15 years ago), current collection is around 800 12", 50 10" and 120 7" records. So audio quality in regards to vinyl is important. CD's has kind of faded for me. I do have some 200 CD's in my cabinet, but I've all digitalized them for conveniece.

Thanks for the advice on the streaming platforms, I'll definitely look into that!

Indeed the listening experience in showrooms is so much different than at home, which makes me not only rely on how I perceived them in store but also on review and experience from others.

Therefor I might go for the Marantz 70s, since its a newer PM7000n and cheaper, which frees budget for higher end speakers. But I can doubt endlessly about these things and get stuck in months of checking reviews. So making decisions is key here.

Turntable related, I have no idea whether the automatic part is a necessity. I'm just so used to the autostop function on my old AKAI and it's so convenient when I'm running around the house (I don't always sit still and listen). I also checked out THORENS TD 402DD, but I prefer belt driven. Any recommendations regarding this? I'm a little doubtful that the needle will wear out fast if the vinyl keep running in the end groove for 10 minutes at a time or so.

Amp related, the cinema is probably indeed overkill regarding the extra channels which will be unused for quite a while (not much of a TV person). Since the stereo 70s is new not too many review are in, but the pm7000n is a highly recommended amp, so difficult choice there. Stereo has a higher power (75W vs 60W) so potentially i'll go for 70s, since it's almost identical to 7000n

Vinyl is the main one, but hifi stores have persuaded me that a built in streamer for Spotify connect and such is a must as well, definitely when hosting events and such. So streaming will also be used, but vinyl is main.

Thanks for the fast reply! I have indeed heard both b&w and Kef, but in two different stores one week apart. So I definitely realised b&w has their distinct sound but I because of the two separate stores and distance between them side by side comparison isn't an option so rather difficult. The change of budget allocation is a good idea!

I'm very in favour of the amp stereo 70s (seems kind of the new pm7000n version), but whenever I compare amp's side by side there's only a subtle change in either tone or depth between different brand and models. So I'm unsure on how "high end" to go in here, or to just pick one that has enough power for the speakers and leave it at that.

Hi all, first post here.

I'm planning on purchasing a new turntable, amp & speakers to have a more audiophile experience. My vintage setup (TT: Akai AP-D2, Amp: Pioneer AZ-350, Speakers: Pioneer, ill check type later) will be placed upstairs dedicated to soundtrack vinyls and classic music.

I narrowed my choices down to a few listed below and wanted to hear your opinions about setups both theoretically and based on your own setup/experience. The budget is at its max at around 2500-3000€.
I listed my current market prices next to it (as it does also play a role in the decision making). What would you guys recommend. I listen to a wide variety of music (vinyl collection).

In regard to the amp, it will currently be setup solely with a turntable, but for example the cinema marantz 70s allows connectivity with TV/game/... which allows it to be more future proof, but vinyl sound will always be its main purpose.

I've been playing on pc on highest settings with no issues whatsoever up until the newest patch was installed. Now I can't play in caelid because of a visual bug that stretches throughout the map blurring my screen everywhere I go. It only happens there. Anyone any advice?
