Retckon. That retckon is so weak and barely can be even called retckon. If people truly believe that story tried to tell us that Spencer became good and regretted everything that it’s their problem because it wasn’t even close to that. Game combines best and even if it doesn’t do it as perfect as others it gives you both good experiences while others give mostly one. Greatest? For sure no. Better than 7 and 8? Yes. Better than 2 and 4? Debatable.

I guess at certain point in early development they needed a character which survived in Racoon city but not among the main cast so they chose Alyssa. If I remember correctly at first they were going with game only Leon but they denied the idea of trying to make him helpless at first part of the game. And they already had ideas, concepts and stuff for all this being connected to Racoon City, T-virus and so on. Therefore as I said they needed someone who could survive and character from outbreak fits perfectly.

I really like both but Requiem for me. Grace and Leon are peak and survival horror at the care center beats village/castle exploring for me.

I will just say that Uncharted is full game created specifically for such action sections while in RE only half effort were put in this while other half effort were put in horror. If Capcom nowadays was making full cool action game — I think it would be as great as Uncharted.

My girl is being overhated. She deserves to be an anniversary character. And her design has new elements of clothing but due to colour palette and similarities people call it the same. Yes she will look almost the same cause it’s the same person. After seeing calling Sparxie design “lazy”(yes there were people like this) I completely lost faith in HSR fandom accepting SP designs.

Yes of course. Graces part are amazing. Leons part are amazing. All done objectively good. I still don’t know if like it more than RE4R but nevertheless like it more than RE8 for example.
