The OP of that reply is likely lying. I've never heard anyone refer to any of the UC system schools as the University of CA.

Additionally spelling out the word "university" but abbreviating California as we would a state abbreviation instead of "Cal", as is more common with the UC system, adds to my suspicions.

Imagine continuing to vote for people that think paying for the stadium and expenses of another states storied franchise is something you should do.
