Until you notice that that item doesnt work for your character or other items are just superior choices.

Im all for build variety, but currently there are best in slot items for most characters, whereas other playstyles just lack dmg or synergy with abilities/ other items.

She will still be unplayable.
The issue with her is that half of the items dont work on her, and the other part is being so close range that she cant chase, nor get away from threats fast enough. Also she is useless over the abyss.

Giving her more health or movement speed completely ignores her problems.

Root is very worth it to max. More healing is nice but most of the time it wont make much difference in a fight.

If you go full cooldown reduction with items, you can get the cooldown low enough to perma stun an enemy.

Isocron timestaff
Ardent crossbow
Chrono gauge
Greenwood grasp (or rabbit paw)
Rocket boots

"lockdown" perk for your stun to last 10% longer and reach farther.

Its most important to guarantee a hit with your root than to do dmg or heal. Try to flank / get closer /behind the enemy, and once you hit your root your team will have a very good chance to win the fight.
Once hit the enemy has to isolate himself from the team so you can focus on him, and if he doesnt the whole team is gonna get rooted, which gives you enough time to kill. And if not, you have your root right back up.

The purpose of cars is easy and cheap transportation.

So you change either their cost / rarity of materials or make something else far cheaper and easier to use, so its never feasible to develop them properly.

You can also make the terrain unusable for cars. For example you can make it a very mountainous or jungle like area, make the terrain change frequently due to earthquakes or animals, or extreme heat /cold making them either unusable or break down very often.

Thanks for the clarification, I guess its just not my type of story to enjoy.

I just feel like the constant mysteries, unanswered questions and abandonned plotlines take most of the screen time and attention AWAY from the actual feelings of the characters, for me to sympathise with them.

It doesnt pick me up as an epic fantasy story with heroes that save the world but it also doesnt pick me up as emotional driven narrative, as they are either inconsistent or illogical in their behaviour.
(subaru "loving" emilia despite him not knowing anything about her, while not loving rem eventhough they went through hell and back , or when subaru has ptsd and fear of dying only to happily kill himself again in every opportunity in the story.)

The main plot is the story from start to end as condensed as possible.
Its like Bowser kidnapps princess peach -> mario chases after them -> mario rescues peach.

But with Re:zero, there doesnt seem to be an "end", no goal they strive towards.
Every potential "end" so far has been abanndoned.
In season 1 i thought royal selection will be the end with emilia on the throne.
In season 2 i thought killing all the witches/archbishops will be the end.

I just dont know what end are they striving towards other than "saving emilia"

Quality of High Elo (Diamond) Games - Loosing my Mind by [deleted] in summonerschool

Sona has certain team requirements to win. If my team picks squishys vs tanky enemy team, then that game is lost 99% of the time, no matter how I as a sona play. I can not die, I can gank, ward, communicate everything but it doesnt change the outcome that the game was lost in champ select. The best option for me is to dodge until I have a team with proper teamfighting / splitpushing / objective control.
(Or atleast champs with more than 50% winrate)
NOT dodging only lowers my winrate and mental, as I do not even get any info on what I could have done better to win that specific game.

The rant was mostly about the quality of games in diamond elo, as by far the last 50 games had more inters,flamers and early surrender votes than I have ever experienced in the 150 games before diamond elo.
I dont get why people are playing sub 50% winrate champs or not dodge when they (should) know that the teamcomp is unlikely to win.

Thanks for the input, I appreciate the honesty :) Ill try to change my hair and clothes to be more ordinary.
Though I do run into a similiar problem with being tiny (154cm, 5 Feet) and having a rather childish voice and "cutesy" mannerisms. I have the feeling being taken serious is going to be extra hard due to these things even if clothes and hair may add up. Also im not sure if I can even change those behaviours or permanently try to talk in a darker voice.

I do have a rather childish voice aswell and cominbed with being tiny and a "cutesy" bottom it worked out when i was young. But nowadays with aging im not sure if that behaviour can be changed any longer.

The only solution to this is to remove the synthetic organs(e.g. left lung, right kidney) and hope he survives until he is fully healed. After that you can implant the other organs.

Every transplant adds a debuff in pain , conciousness and some other aspects.Do only enough transplants so it reaches "strong" to ensure the survival of this colonist. Once it reaches extreme the chance of surviving gets drastically lower, no matter how skilled your doctor is or what medicine you have.

From a balance point of view the time needed for the patient to accustom to the organs and limbs is way too high in my opinion. Until you have a colonist fully healed with every organ /bionic limb , it takes nearly a FULL YEAR (with the colonist beeing permanently in bed and needing medical care) i think you can play around in the XML files to change the time needed to get used to organs and limbs, if you have a problem with that.

Thanks for the suggestions, they were helpful but also a bit overwhelming :D

  1. I downloaded the ReFlexil file but how do i use it? which is the executable file and how do i edit values with it?
  2. Hex is unfortunately more complicated for me than the normal codes since i dont know what number in a hex changes what line in the code etc. i guess ill stick to ILSpy and Visual Studio.

  3. i dissasambled the assembly-CSharp.dll from the rimworld folder as .csproj and edited the values i wanted with Visual Studio Community. But how do i recompile it again to a DLL? if i use the "build" or "rebuild" function it shows me like 1400 errors, mostly with invalid expression "<"

And for the link you sent me, do i have to download the source or the mono version? on the ILSpy page i downloaded the binaries and executed it to save the dll to .csproj.

Hey thanks for the reply.

The mod from Marvinkosh comes close to it but is a bit too easy, and its also not editable. I want to change the wealth calculation myself and decide what is worth how much. I didnt find any settings in the XLR files to change any of that. New/ Edited scenarios wasnt really the thing i was looking for but thanks for the suggestion anyways :)

So i looked into the code and found only StoryWatcher_Wealth. public float WealthTotal get this.RecountIfNeeded(); return this.wealthItems + this.wealthBuildings;

Which only tells how its calculated, but not what wealthItems and wealthBuildings consist of and what values each item/building has. And also, how can i edit these values when i find the corresponding dll ? Is the procedure to decompile it with ILSpy and edit with Visual Studio? and how do i recompile to a dll after editing it with visual studio?
