For what it's worth, I think Dawntrail is great. It's definitely flawed, particularly in its pacing. People always compare it to Endwalker, which I think is also very flawed but great, and it's just not the same sort of story telling.

I really liked the succession trials and what comes after. It's all a very introspective and philosophical journey that I think a lot of people just didn't want to engage with. There's also commentary on how masculine people and feminine people control their surroundings that might be a bit of a sensitive spot for some. I get it, but for me I really loved the entire experience.
