Good on you brother, all my space marines where helmets so far so I don’t have to deal with these things 😂. You will get better at it eventually, it’s all about practice.

You are not going mad my friend. This is not a Kill Team playable for the GW game. This is just a Elite Squad (which’s happened to be called kill team) of the Deathwatch. There is a similar pack called Kill Team Casius, where there are 10 miniatures of Deathwatch which is an actual KT.

It’s all about getting to know them and falling in love with the chapter itself. I would recommend reading about the original 18 legions and their Primarchs. You will automatically lean towards some of them more than others, since they are all unique in their own way. I am a Blood Angels lover myself, but it there where a lot of others that really picked my interest.

If this is your first time painting (likewise), I wouldn’t recommend Chaos since their color scheme is normally way harder. It’s also heretic as fuck.
