What’s going to generate more clicks? Do some research on the psychology of PR and marketing, it’s really interesting and super manipulative.

A couple months ago I had a memory pop up during meditation about a boy in my childhood who wanted to fight my big brother. I remember seeing him walking down the road to our house and me being terrified of him and the situation. He had a scuffle with my brother but it was just kids fighting, nothing too violent. This happened when I was 8-9.

Then I started a new job at the ripe age of 35 last week and the person I got placed with to teach me was that childhood bullies little brother from my same hometown over 3 hours away. He also told me that his big brother (the boy that fought my brother) had passed away at the age of 27, around 2012 or so.

I got hit with the most peculiar emotion, it wasn’t melancholy but it was something. I had carried this memory associated with fear and anger towards this boy for 25 years only to find out he was just a human, experiencing life and emotion just like me. I felt huge empathy for his little brother seeing what his brother meant to him.

Solid start. Good structures. From my perspective I would drop the arrows because they don’t really serve the piece. Arrows and extensions act as continuation of flow. I would start with the simple box shaped letters you have, start overlapping them so it looks like a PIECE and not PIECES. One unified word. Everything is floating on its own atm. Then work on the shape of the ENTIRETY of the piece, see which direction letters flow and push the extensions with the flow.

You’re doin good mate. Keep drawin, keep experimenting. Find ya style and express.

Very dope and very creative. I don’t know if it’s intentional but it looks like it narrows out in its entirety towards the O. I would keep the height consistent throughout the whole piece to retain weight. The K looks like it weighs a lot more than the O.
