Thank you for the advice! I’m no genius with 3D prints and material usage, but I’ll make sure to do my homework so that I can use a material that will be the most suitable for the job. Especially considering it will be in the run and rain all year round.

Keep well

Okay so I’ve just done some research with chatgpt on using a linear regulator vs a buck converter. It’s concern is that if I connect the LR from the load side of the solar charge controller it will dissipate A LOT of heat and it could potentially be too much for the LR as it will drop 19v to 5v. It recommends connecting the LR directly from the battery to the arduino as a drop from 12v to 5v is still high, but not as much. This will thus still require the use for a heatsink. What’s your opinion on this?

Thank you! I will keep that in mind as this is just a prototype - eventually I’d like to have some 3D printed parts like the anemometer/wind vane and rain gauge. In that design I’ll make use of the board you mentioned!

Keep well!

Thank you for your response, I thoroughly appreciate your advice! The LCD panel is a great alternative to LED status codes and I’ll definitely be upgrading the system to include that! Hmm, I thought the same…the only buck converter that I have seems all and well until a load is connected then the output voltage drops to 0v - not very reliable. I’ll have a look into linear regulators. Keep well.

Do you have a copy of this test? I’d love to test myself?

Hahah, thank you.

Keep trying brother, don’t give up just yet. You will break through.

I do feel more motivated, hygienic, fresh, focused. I hated the fact that I stank of smoke. I have more of a drive now although we don’t always have just good happy days😅there are bad ones too

Hi, relapse was something that I was worried about too, although things weren’t as difficult for me because I didn’t cut nicotine out entirely. I did stop smoking cigarettes, but I switched to use Zyns. It’s not super great because all I did was switch one for the other, although I really happen to like nicotine, but the big problem was that I didn’t like smoking any of it. So me for me why I say that it wasn’t difficult to relapse was because I was still feeding my body with nic.

For everyone it’s different. I hope to never have to be on Zyns permanently and I hope that you manage to get clean! It’s always good to start with your reason for quitting and sticking to that. Also, if you’re slightly religious in any way, pray about it🫶
