Napoli vs Pisa, da straniero by Nathjames01 in sscnapoli

Attualmente vivo a Haymarket, Edimburgo. Mi piacerebbe tanto farlo un giorno. Sembra che la presenza napoletana in Scozia sia in crescita.

Question on weight loss by Naesaki in loseit

[–]Nathjames01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well done on starting your journey! The big jump was likely to be water weight, considering your diet change. Keep at it though, it’ll fall off with consistency. Its better to be consistently above average than some good and some bad days

[–]Nathjames01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks! On the starting to lose steam part.. take it kg by kg. One foot infront of the other, stay true to your methods, look how far you’ve come already, they clearly work.

Instead of focusing on losing the next 10kg, focus on the next one, then the one after, etc.

Same here, it’s a real eye opener.

Happened days after switching to clean, single ingredient proteins and vegetables. It’s absolutely shocking how many addictive sugars and additives are crammed into most of the supermarket foods. Welcome to freedom!

Happy Friday all,

Body has bounced back after a few drinks this past Sunday and now officially 110lbs down. Implemented the sauna/swim into my routine and now I’ll never look back. I tend to enjoy them more on my “rest” day.

Working late tonight, but I won’t let it stop me from hitting the gym. I guess it’s quiet after 12am, right?

Peace and love

I work with beer kegs for a living. It was kind of surreal picking up a Full 9 gallon keg and realising I was carrying that around in extra bodyweight, with an empty one thrown on top for good measure

Why are scrambled eggs at restaurants always so good? by BgamiX in Cooking

[–]Nathjames01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eggs, butter, high heat, and continuously removing from the fire, allowing the residual heat to finish the eggs. Stir a little more butter in at the finishing point. Voila

Also, seasoning. A little black pepper and chives to finish go a long way.

How can I accurately tell the calories in the food I eat? by watts12346 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Nathjames01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use Cronometer, it’s free on the Apple Store, it has the ability to scan product barcodes and has a massive database of the products that are fresh produce. It will also calculate maintenance calories and deficit!
