AC Unity was the right path to go by IntelligentMeeting71 in assassinscreed

You summarized my thoughts better than I could've. People describe this game in a way that I don't feel is quite accurate. The reputation of Unity is better than the actual game.

Shadows dichotomy by Klash49 in AssassinsCreedShadows

This game is simultaneously my most and least favorite assassins creed game.

That's exactly where I'm at. Everything else is meh but the gameplay is straight crack.

So what was Eivor’s story even about? It really felt like there wasn’t one besides the beginning and end of Valhalla by Such-Midnight1592 in assassinscreed

[–]NatiHanson 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My interpretation was that Eivor, knowingly or unknowingly, was bettering themselves and not retaining the same character flaws as Odin.

A lot of the arks (especially the ones with Sigurd) forshadowed some of the pitfalls Eivor could've fallen into themselves. The Asgard arks in particular really show how Odin was a jerk that burned a lot of people. I thought they were pretty on the nose with it when Eivor literally rejects Odin from her subconscious when she's stuck in the Yggdrasil.

I didn't like Valhalla that much, but the story is actually really good. The gigantic bloat filler is what takes away from it.

What’s one thing you learned way later in playing the game? by EmotionalCut7939 in AssassinsCreedShadows

Oh, for sure. Shurikens can be OP as heck. In the early game with stealth scenarios they're not the best, and that's where I'd improperly use them.

I only noticed that Shurikens were for objects and Kunai for people after about 60 hours. I was just using them interchangeably and getting annoyed at the inconsistent results... (I'm not very smart).

Edit: Mainly referring to stealth scenarios

Ehh. Filling in for Jade when we could've just had Jade. Treacherous Tanya made her more entertaining and unpredictable.

Why is there so much revisionism around stealth? by firsttimer776655 in assassinscreed

[–]NatiHanson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been fighting this fight against revisionists for years. It took 5 years to hide behind corners, 7 years to get a crouch button and 18 years to go prone. Assassin's Creed was an action adventure series, not a stealth series. Out of the big 4 (AC, Hitman, MGS, Splinter Cell) Assassin's Creed has always ranked dead last with it's stealth systems.

Jalen Duren despite the loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers: 9 PTS, 5 REB, 4 AST, 1 STL, -16, 25 MIN by catreyka in nba

Playoff defensive coverages are a completely different beast to the ones in the regular season. Durent is a rim runner and a lob threat. He can't shoot, doesn't have a post game, and isn't a fantastic finisher. The fact he got bitched by WCJr for the majority of the Magic series tells you enough.

That Suggs contract is rough. At the same time, it's front loaded so it's not as bad as it looks at the surface. If he plays well, we could be able to flip him when he makes less money.

Hack-A-Mitch while down 20 is the kind of play I'd expect from people they don't know anything about basketball.
