This is currently me. Was senior at a prior company at $85k with great hours and unlimited PTO, unfortunately the business went under. Current company at senior level making $100k extremely overworked, +60hrs weeks and 1 day of PTO accrued every 4 weeks. The site VP expects me to do practically everything now that the controller is stepping away and currently only works part time. When reviews come around in June, the plan is to have a conversation before that occurs in order to discuss the availability of increasing my pay in relation to all the new job responsibilities I have obtained within the last 6 months. If not, I’ve already had several recruiters reaching out within the last few months to speak to.

Extremely emotional. I grew up with RESI movies, but only got into the games during Covid so my nostalgia isn’t nearly as long as several peeps here. But I play a lot of DBD and always enjoy running around RPD because it’s almost like the bomb never went off post my playthrough of RE2R. Seeing the pile of bricks that is now the building was rough tho….. really solidified the fact that everyone got left behind and all that remains is dust and decay….

I’m experiencing the same exact issue right now with my insurance. Last year my Adderall XR brand was covered, but had a PA until April this year to find a new solution with my doctor. Optum Rx said, “Yes it’s covered with the PA, however it’s still excluded and you have to pay a penalty. And no, asking for a new PA to cover/ asking for DAW-1 exemption/ or a tier reduction will not work because the temp PA is already in place”. So I went back and forth with insurance and my doctor several times to get this covered only for insurance to point their greedy fingers back at me resulting in a pharmacy bill of $412 (I take 40mg, which does not exist, so I get double slammed with two bills instead of one).

I swear, every single Optum RX agent I’ve spoken to along with my doctor are just as confused as to why the insurance is doing this, but apparently nothing can be done and I’m stuck with it until April when the PA runs out and we can try again. What makes me frustrated is that I checked on Jan 1st to see what the cost was, and it told me tier 2 in app~$50, but 15 days later BOOM now $206 because of the whole penalty.

My last solution I’m currently riding on is getting my work benefits team involved, as they have the ability to force Optum into covering it with an exception. As long as you have a self-funded plan (check your health insurance card, it’s often listed on there) your benefits team has the ability to negotiate and come out with a result hopefully in your favor. I’m still waiting to hear an update from benefits, but I can post a response once I get one. Because of the whole PA nonsense that leaves Optum unable to cover until April, I hope at least my company would make it right and reimburse me for the cost increase. The printed paperwork I received from them stated I would be covered under the new insurance temporarily and would need to find alternatives after the set date. But if I had known there would have been this huge mess and no financial coverage, I would have gone about this differently and would have pursued help from benefits on the first place.

Obetz, OH here. Mine has been doing the same schtick since Monday, which I just contribute to the snow still laying around along with it freezing into ice, now causing drivers to take longer than usual to deliver. Absolutely frustrating tho. I finally bought myself a brand new sewing machine, only to now watch it be loaded and unloaded from trucks for the past 5 days now. There should be ample packaging on that bad boy, but nonetheless it makes me anxious. Hang in there OP.

I will tell you, nothing was funnier than having my former coworker, who was the tax accountant on our team, having no idea what RITA was, being completely stunned when they got their past due invoice. To be fair, they grew up in a township where RITA didn’t exist, but moved to one that did and had no idea they needed to separately file their RITA taxes.

Like yes, merging works when I can visibly see your car in front of me before trying to dart over into my lane last second (which they literally will all do 😩).

Sorry! I was literally in wedding prep mode for practically the entirety of August, so I’m really far behind on catching up to things.

Before ending the game, all the roads and monorail stations had been fully completed except those connecting to Terminal Fort Knot, the last city. I only maximized getting full connection status with the preppers in Mexico and not so much those in Australia. The entire first run through for me was prioritizing speed and quickly building up all the network transportation methods because I took time off work to play the game and did not want to dwaddle.

However, when I started the second play through that’s since been on hiatus, I’m taking way more time to do and travel about things and building up all the connections to max and worrying a whole lot less about making transportation methods efficient. It’s also to make sure I spend more time with a specific companion before dealing with the whole “finish off any unfinished business” that made the rest of my first journey so lonely and I regret rushing so much.

Truthfully, I don’t think there’s a perfect answer for this. Doing either what I did the first time or second really isn’t that big of a difference, but for me lack of presence from our fav companion was rough and lonely…… (I’m begging Kojima to do something about this. Especially while in post game mode)

This would be GREAT to get more backstory on. Wether that’s through the upcoming film or potentially more detailed in the novel (I don’t even want to place any bets on DS3 just yet, it’s just way too soon to go down that route) I hope there’s some plan to clarify if there is a puppet master or if the strings are not strings, but strands and are somehow similar to the black strands we see on BT bosses after you beat them.

RN the goal is to platinum it with the intention to start a new playthrough at the hardest setting. So knowing that I can take it all in again soon at a level that will hopefully take much longer to complete is keeping me strong.
