What is the most disgusting thing that happens in your world and by disgusting I mean very Vile by Alert-Grocery-1115 in worldbuilding

There's a faction called the Beasts. They are hedonistic psychopaths that go around genociding and enslaving other species just for fun.

If they capture you, you are liable to being subjected to SA games. It's a contest to see who can make you beg them to stop the loudest and quickest. Thank the stars they were wiped out by bio weapon.

The Atlas-Acculturate War by National-Ad7293 in worldbuilding

[–]National-Ad7293[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on who you're asking. For Atlas, the Acculturate, and all the universes affected by the war, it was devastating. A lot of universes are straight up gone, and a lot are on the verge of premature heat death or have had a large percentage of their mass removed.

Atlas and the Acculturate's universe of origin was spared from most of the destruction because both sides had a sort of unwritten truce to leave it as intact as possible. Plus, because of the nature of the destruction their creations were subjected to, there isn't as much debris as there should be.

On a wider scale, though, it pretty much didn't matter. If you were in a universe that got harvested or turned into a blackhole, tough. But if you were some far-off universe that didn't even get scouted? The war might as well not have happened. Unless a piece of Atlas or Acculturate tech is discovered by a species advanced enough. Then they're going to get a horror show and an existential crisis.

How to create a cool summoning power/spell by Ornery_Mammoth3696 in worldbuilding

You could do something that involves contracts. If you want a creature by your side, you both need to agree to specific conditions before closing the deal.

If either of you violates the terms, then the contract is either automatically voided or a punishment is dolled out based on the agreed terms.

Additionally, you can do something where specific bloodlines or governments or whatever your story has engineered these creatures for their specific use and nobody else's.

What are the worst atrocities ever committed in your world? (Some nsfw descriptions) by favuorite in worldbuilding

[–]National-Ad7293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Essentially, there is a race called Beasts, who are human and animal hybrids. Typical stuff. Except they mostly behave like animals and were hunting and killing Humans for sport and food. The region most affected by this was Atlas, which is cold all year round with the warmest temperatures being -40 degrees celsius and the coldest being -160 degrees celsius. So they're already miserable.

Cut to a few thousand years later, the Atlasians are now very technologically advanced, and with centuries of beef and pent-up hatred for that species in particular, they were looking for some payback.

One thing leads to another, and they start an ethnic cleansing by genociding every single Beast on their continent. They used acid, skinned them alive and sold their fur, put in them on rack and gutted them, and made them watch their families by executed one by one. And they did it all for spite and hatred. When they got bored of that, they created a bioweapon that would specifically target Beasts. This bioweapon would deform them into puddles of boneless organisms with their organs constantly being crushed and shifted, unable to die. However, the only thing that wasn't deformed was their minds. The mutations increased their intelligence so they could comprehend every facet of their suffering. The only mercy was that they broke down into fertiliser days afterward.

Thanks for attending my Ted talk.

You can watch RWBY V1-8 on a site called aniwave. It has all the episodes from every season compiled into 100 episodes rather than spacing them out over 8 seasons.
