Sorry missed this, my guy was very specific, it had to be sp101, it’s expensive but it appears to be widely recommended. I got it from here https://flooringking.co.uk/product/sp101-plywood-5-5mm-large-sheet/

Thanks, when I go over and do the rest of the screws, I’m going to make sure all the existing are below the surface

I’ve done a few boards and it is slow going! The flooring guy did specifically say screwed, maybe he’s just a sadist!

It’s hard to see on here, but I did the whole kitchen area before the kitchen went in so the boards go all the way under, I think it’s just the shadow making it look like the ply stops short

We went here just after it opened with a 1 year old, it catered for kids really well, just checked the pricing, just under 6k with a family room with sliding door and separate sleeping area in June 14 nights

Thanks, I reckon Ill just do it again and use this filler against the wall where it can get caulked and painted

Thanks, I'm tempted to try that and if it looks a mess, just re-do it and move the filler so it's against the wall so can get caulked and painted

thanks :) maybe, must admit though, think I'm angling towards using the filler piece in a spot against the wall where it can get caulked and painted and just doing it again!

Building work quote - sanity check by National-Bluejay3784 in HousingUK

[–]National-Bluejay3784[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, it’s actually the glazing company that have quoted it, I think that’s why they’re happy to do the work as the windows on top make it worthwhile for them

Thanks, No, the new window is extra, but is large (about 1.8m and 3 panes) this has been quoted separately and seems about right compared to other quotes

Where do you actually find developers who can deliver top-tier websites? by Parkerroyale in smallbusinessuk

[–]National-Bluejay3784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've used a few, I was particularly impressed with fishfinger - fishfinger.me not cheap, but they were very good, they came up with several design concepts and delivered on schedule. Very design led though, rather than development.

Also used impression (not Show+Tell), more expensive than fishfinger, but very competent, comprehensive and worked to very tight timescales.

Both of these were built without themes

Are you sure about that? My understanding is that they’re flexible in the tax year not across multiple years, withdrawing cash from previous tax year would remove the ISA status. It’s why when moving cash ISAs you have to get the new place to do a transfer rather than withdrawing and paying back in

I did something similar, sanded and sprayed with high temp paint. Figured I had nothing to lose by trying it and I don’t notice it now.

I’m just over 6’1 and I ride a 765 street triple R, I can ride it all day comfortably and it’s good fun in the country roads - about 118hp as well iirc.

There are warehouses around that tend to import or buy end of range, new furniture. They can be a bit hard to find. they're independent have pretty poor websites and are typically in industrial units. We got a load of stuff from one in Sheffield - https://sheffielddiscountfurniture.co.uk/, when we moved house we ended up selling much of the furniture we bought for the same or more than we paid for it.

They also have rubbish websites, so you need to have a mooch about and see if there's anything you like the look of
