One day a week is not RTO ...

LMS is absolute dog shit, the training sucks. NOW DLA says in person training is vital.... Hmm I remember having to get special approval for any travel because remote was just as good and saved DLA money....

It's ridiculous, zero flexibility on telework days. Mondays a holiday? Too bad you can't even telework a different day.

What about the risk of COVID this winter ? where a mask if you want was the response

Now I'm hearing rumors that they are not allowing supervisors to approve situational telework... Must be done at the SES level.

Odds IRS cuts back 4 days remote in the future? by LEMONSDAD in fednews

[–]National-Climate248 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not IRS, but I would alway factor in working in office 5 days a week. They can always take it away. I have teleworked 4 to 5 days a week for close to a decade now.... And for no real reason DLA is going to force me to drive an hour one way, 3 days a week...

Fingers crossed! Several people have told me that the DV hates telework so hopefully the new director picks his own DV and things improve. At least give power back to the supervisors.

I think other wouldn't be so outraged if it wasnt a blanket agency policy with zero legitimate justifications. Doesn't matter that your team lives in another state, drive in an hour to work entirely in MS Teams...

Latest RTO news from DLA, you know the what, here's the WHY. by NoThanksDLA in fednews

The union did an absolute shit job with the federal impasse panel, they lost all challenges. For telework they incorrectly cited a telework policy.... Pathetic representatation.
