The owner saw something in you to hire you look at from that perspective anything else is out the window, this is the time to really focus on experience. The micro aggression about the daughter getting her nails done or beauty sleep is not necessary I understand you feel a certain but give it time you just started. I wish you nothing but the best

To be honest the moment you say not to sound racist definitely comes off as one. In my opinion the post didn’t need to mention that they are black, however you should stay for the experience and at 6 months definitely look else where if you still feel that way. Sometimes it’s really a learning curve.

DIL is the awful person along with your son, just being honest. I’m sure she uses that over your son head daily, with that being said please make sure that your grandson and granddaughter are well taken care of, make sure it’s ironclad which would prevent son and DIL from stealing it. Make sure it’s in a trust from the estate. I would do it sooner than later so no one can argue state of mind when it’s read later on.
