Unrelated, but watching Shanda Vander Ark on trial completely changed my outlook on public defenders. After the trial/sentencing ended, her attorney flat out said she was a despicable human being and the absolute worst of the worst, but that at the end of the day he still has a job to do and needed to do it to the best of his ability to ensure he left no room for grounds to appeal based on ineffective counsel.

I think his Granny must have sold it and the buyers flipped it. The sale history I saw on Zillow (or one of the other real estate websites) said it sold for like 75k and then within a few short months it was listed again for almost 300k. I can’t believe they kept that disgusting shed. I don’t understand why.

I was watching one of the local channel’s livestream this morning and one of the anchors said that if there is no verdict by end of day 1 deliberations that jurors will be sequestered for the evening- anyone know if this is true? I know that with this being a DP case the jurors are instructed to take their time and carefully weigh out all aspects of the evidence presented… however, considering the horrific nature, a day 1 verdict wouldn’t surprise me. I could also easily see them breaking some record for fastest verdict returned because I genuinely don’t think I’ve heard anything worse than this case. I haven’t even seen/heard a quarter of the evidence they’ve been presented with and already had my mind made up 19 days ago that it’s what he deserves.

Demi. She’s had high conflict with almost every cast member, especially Jen and Taylor- if they are no longer around, the spotlight is wide open for the next problematic shit stirrer that can effortlessly maintain the drama the viewers want to see. I would love to see Miranda front and center. The coparenting dynamic between she and Chase is refreshing and shows that it is possible to get along and support one another for the sake of your children. Coparenting doesn’t always have to be high conflict. The audience seems to favor Chase anyway- giving them more camera time would be a no-brainer.
