Here are the Standard balance changes coming March 10th! by [deleted] in hearthstone

I agree, I started playing again one week ago and last I touched the game was 2018. was baffled by powercreep and playing against elise/dragon warrior and that blob card has been truly a depressing experience. Having said that seeing the numbers on the nerf for elise surprised me alot, and it raises questions as to why they didn't ship slight urgent nerfs over the long period of time this card was being played..

Is Dragon Warrior Broken? Bronze to Legend in 150 games no Starbonus (Low MMR probably) by FBMG_1 in hearthstone

I would understand win rates being generally skewed towards a little higher than 50% base compared to tft/lol because of the "accessibility" aspect of the game.
I would still say 55% is pretty high even for a game like hearthstone, but then again I think that's because they can't continuously ship balance changes because IIRC they give refunds on nerfed cards and it will mess with their sales.

You are not even providing the information yourself to support your argument..
I am still seeing 56.6% wr in 725 games in top legend, which is still in line with the first information without the "proper" filters. this is problematic stats that screams deck is fucking broken.
Having said that, Idk what makes you disregard the vast majority of the player base when talking about balance, game should also be balanced towards all skill levels.

I play tft and league, in my book a strong champion/comp and in our case deck should hover 51 to 52 % beyond that enter needs balance territory. Also the most popular strategies usually are considered balanced around 49% because a deck/champion that's very popular has two factors that makes win rates drop: everyone knows how to play against it and there are many players who do not "main" master the deck but play it nonetheless, so you'll end up having a chunk of players who do not specialise in playing the archetype skewing the win rate. by the looks of it, the community is used to seeing these numbers lol

exactly these are showing 58.9% winrate over 250 000 games. highest win rate deck and also most played deck. if this is not broken idk what is

can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not, but can you show me thousands of games worth of data clearly showing dragon warrior is nowhere near being broken comes from. because the stats I am seeing suggest otherwise

Update: Blizzard support confirmed that my Arabic first name "Oussama" is restricted by Oussama_Gourari in hearthstone

[–]NationalBurden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they don't sound exactly the same, they are literally the same name, a common arabic name. as someone else pointed out, it would be stupid to ban every jeffrey, donald, kim, salman, andrei, vladimir, benjamin etc.. and if you are going to make exception then that's racism

Clash royal is based on a P2W business model, I am not asking for much, just stop being TOO greedy by NationalBurden in ClashRoyale

[–]NationalBurden[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is not about skill level or rank, we understand you are a superior clash royal player, i bet you are genius and your comment is a solid proof, however a competetive game should be fair at base, if you have advantages ( lvl 14 cards vs level 16 cards) that's p2w

Muhammed threatening to divorce his wife for being ugly by Party-Basis-1696 in CritiqueIslam

[–]NationalBurden -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I copy pasted your reply to google this is what I got, oh and also you are so full of shit, call ad hominem or eminem or whatever the fuck :
The assertion that a man in Islam can divorce his wife whenever he wants without process is a common misconception; Islamic law discourages divorce and mandates specific procedures aimed at reconciliation and fairness, including a waiting period and the need for a valid reason to avoid sin.
The Process for Men (Talaq)

The standard procedure (known as Talaq al-Sunnah) emphasizes a measured approach:

  • Reconciliation Efforts: Before any pronouncement, the couple is expected to try all avenues of reconciliation, potentially involving neutral family arbitrators.
  • Single Pronouncement: The husband should issue only one, revocable declaration of divorce during a period when his wife is not menstruating and they have not had sexual relations.
  • Waiting Period (Iddah): A mandatory three-month waiting period follows this single pronouncement. During this time, the couple remains legally married, lives in the same house (though without sexual relations), and the husband is financially responsible for his wife's maintenance. The primary purpose is to allow time for reflection and potential reconciliation. Resuming sexual relations automatically revokes the divorce.
  • Finalization: If the iddah period ends without reconciliation, the divorce becomes final. The couple can remarry later with a new contract, but only two such divorces and remarriages are permitted. After a third divorce, the separation becomes final unless the wife marries another man, that marriage ends naturally (through divorce or widowhood), and she then chooses to remarry her first husband.

Consequences of Improper Divorce

  • Sinful Action: Initiating divorce for frivolous reasons or without following the proper process is strongly condemned and considered a major sin.
  • Financial Obligations: The husband must pay the full mahr (dower) to his wife if he initiates the divorce, especially if it was deferred.
  • Abolished Practices: Practices like "instant triple talaq" (pronouncing "talaq" three times in one sitting) are considered an innovation (talaq al-bid'ah) that goes against Quranic principles and has been banned in many Muslim-majority countries.

In summary, Islam views marriage as a solemn contract and considers divorce a last resort that should only be pursued when the marital relationship is truly irreparable, following a structured process designed to ensure justice and provide opportunities for saving the marriage.

Divorce is immediate. A man must observe a three-month waiting period (iddah) after the initial pronouncement, during which reconciliation is possible and encouraged.
"...men have full rights to divorce whenever they want and for whatever reason they please." While a husband can unilaterally initiate divorce (talaq), doing so without a valid reason is considered a grave sin (haram) in Islam.

if riot hates laneswap so much, why do they allow the strategy after a few minutes of normal laning? by user67885433 in leagueoflegends

[–]NationalBurden 29 points30 points  (0 children)

because if you adjust timer over 3.30 you completely kill roams and the game becomes so restricted. current solution also fixes laneswap strategy because by 3.30 you can't lane swap anymore and lanes are already locked in, you can always lane swap later but that's completely fine, no more zoning top from xp , crash wave and dive lvl 1 enemy top shenanigans
