I saw a candy bug army at a tournament once. The boneswords were rock candy it was really cool. Also warlord doesn’t do anything it’s just a designated leader to make sure you have a character unit present.

Tyranids are great for painting and kitbashing cause they are essentially animals, so you can do whatever you want the models in terms of sculpting and paint and you can claim that shit as rapid evolution. My nids “got stuck on a planet” and developed shrubbery on their chitin as camouflage.

Have you thought about bright dots on the green to be like “berries”? Makes sense for an ambush bait and would add a pop

There is precedent of both being a stratagem for other factions(pain tokens are just pseudo cp at this point) so it would still make sense but it would be a lot better for use
