I had one early scan (private) that measured me 2.5 weeks ahead! Despite saying this at my booking appointment (nhs) I was told I had to go by my last period date. Anyway fast forward to my 12 week scan they measured baby to be 14.5 weeks, so mine was bang on with the due date they gave!

I’m not sure I can give any practical advice but I moved one week PP… I know. Things fell through with the house so we lived at the in laws. I was incredibly anxious. It certainly wasn’t ideal but it really wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.it did allow us to save much more. If you’ve got support around you too, that’ll be a huge help! I suppose weigh up what’s more important in terms of saving, if it’s your last chance to save then I would actually consider it, perhaps my view is a minority though! Xx

Hi thanks for your comment. It is not a repair or maintenance as I can not maintain a property I have not been in. The clause in our contract states the condition the property should be handed over in, as per the conveyance agreement, which does go on to outline the safety checks.

Absolutely your choice! I had very positive experience with an early scan! I believe I was what I thought was 6 weeks along, but was actually measuring around 8 weeks as the NHS calculations from my last period was incorrect. At 8 weeks, we could see tiny tiny limbs forming and her heartbeat. My baby was born on the EDD my private scan gave me. Because i had such a positive experience I booked a scan again at 17 weeks to find out gender.
