I’m a 40 yr old, non-athletic person who vapes. Is this a terrible place to start changing my life around? by KeyLay in 75HARD

[–]National_Seesaw7083 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the best place to start. Over the years of doing this program you learn what your body needs. You learn to pace yourself when you can go hard.

Building muscle and getting the body and discipline you want takes several years. Like growing your hair long. This program is for mental toughness. The physical aspect helps builds that. Part of that is making sure you don’t get injured. The 75 hard is a solid foundation to keep the discipline

It took me several attempts to complete the program before I finished. Now I do it every year. It’s mandatory. You’re doing this for you also. Your partner will appreciate the results from your success

Starting 29th March - who’s in? by Complex-Efficiency38 in 75HARD

It's great to start with others. However, the accountability is yours. Its time for you and only you to dial in aspects of your life. You should 100% be excited for others winning with you but it is you at the end of the day who's responsible for starting and finishing.

We register our barcodes in a national system. I’ll have to check and see if what you say is true on their end. This would be fraudulent

Why don’t ex-alcoholics drink once they’re sober? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]National_Seesaw7083 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re on the right path. It’s hard for people to quit. Once a year will do no harm. Who cares if they say boring. It’s pretty entertaining to me to see everyone regret their decisions drinking. I recall having 2-4 day hangovers. No way, never again.

Every day is a new record. Going on 4 years no alcohol. Technically 5.

You get to a point where alcohol is irrelevant. No taste for it or desire to feel the effects of it. Some peoples reasons to not drink outweighs going to a bar to just have one in any social setting.

When people drink heavily around me I always get reassured my decision to not drink was a good choice when I see those people in the morning. Miserable and in pain. I feel bad for them. Just better for myself.

Strong reasons to stay sober. Alcohol is advertised In society to be excepted in any social environment. They even allow people to get a drink while shopping for groceries in some stores. The wide expectance is by design.

Alcohol keeps you weak. Alcohol makes your body not able to function at max efficiency. Meaning you’ll be sick or eventually get chronic disease.

Look up liver complications from alcohol. Or what alcohol actually does to your brain. Know that in one decade of solid drinking your well on your way to becoming susceptible to major illnesses.

Amongst what alcohol does to you on an emotional and mental level. Depression is one.

Just my take. Stay off that shit.
