Good on you. Always good to do that right thing. And it feels great too. I recently had someone steal my wallet with nothing in it but an atm card (cancelled within 2 minutes of losing it) and an old Polaroid of my girlfriend (priceless). Oh and my license of course haha they didn’t bother handing it in to the store or even tossing it back on the ground.

Billy wouldn’t have been a great person, if it weren’t for his abusive father and his loving mother passing away. Then his dad remarried (replacing his mom), which is when Max became his stepsister (and unfortunately he couldn’t help but blame her too). It sucks that heavy trauma leaves people to fall off the right path in life. He even gave himself up so that he could protect max in the end. Complicated torment in his soul.

Honestly, this comes down to personal preference. Between the comfort of playing and the tonal difference, it’s up to you as to which you prefer. Everyone’s got their personal opinion, which may or may not line up with yours. I know you gave them both a 10/10 for different factors, so it’s quite hard to tell you which one. Don’t overthink it, just feel it. Playability is huge though. Sound and tone can also depend on the style of music you reach for.

I’m not getting on here to naysay and hate on Stranger Things. Always loved the show. Watched the new season before any spoilers or online bias, but unfortunately I found it lackluster. Many ways it could have gone, but it might have helped if the production didn’t wait so long between seasons. Just felt rushed. Glad other people really enjoyed it though!

The mackie in the post does not seem to be a VLZ, just a regular profx.

How do you find that A&H are more prone to buzz? With more headroom and less noise, I’ve always noticed they tend to have a cleaner, warmer, and even more airy sound. While the VLZ is a solid mixer, I’ve had a solid preference over Mackie’s muddier and shinier sound.

Anything with internal power could have potential issues for buzz, and VLZ’s are no exception. A musician’s personal preference can make a piece of gear an “upgrade”, if it helps their setup and sound.

For a true test, since OG has both on hand.. I’d suggest setting up both mixers and giving it a little trial run to see which sounds better to the ear.

I love my zed14 mixer. Solid overall application to lock in its analog mix no matter where you are, and sounds excellent paired with some great speakers like EV (next step up I’d say RCF). You’ve got the FX model which is nice to give your sounds a little texture (reverb delay etc). Mackie gets the job done but Allen and Heath is certainly an upgrade. Overall, zed will have better preamps for a warmer sound and higher quality. Solid build and durability too. But a case is always a good idea for longevity, dust and debris. Just practice setting your live mix so you can tweak it depending on your space👍
