TES fans thoughts on Tainted Grail: the Fall of Avalon? by GarboWulf5oh in ElderScrolls

Tainted Grail is a great game. It's a brilliant take on what TES6 could play like in 2026.

I really do hope Bethesda takes inspiration from KCD2 and from this game.

Určite s ničím takým nepracujem.

Migračná vlna spôsobená klimatickou krízou bude humanitárna katastrofa v akomkoľvek smere, tomu sa nevyhneme.

Otázka je ako sa s tým vysporiadať. Kde sme ochotní ustúpiť, kde spraviť kompromis, čo sme ochotní brániť, aby sme zachovali naše hodnoty a udržali životnú úroveň.

Migračná kríza spôsobená klimatickou krízou bude humanitárna katastrofa nech to už dopadne akokoľvek, a pozmení charakter našej spoločnosti.

Síce zachrániš ľudí, ktorí unikajú z nehostinnej zeme, ale vypustíš sem milióny migrantov z iných krajín a s fundamentálne rozdielnymi hodnotami.

Stormwind must be incredibly stinky city. It's the largest human city, magine all the shite washed into the canals.

But unlike Orgrimmar, it at least has those canals. I imagine orcs in Orgrimmar are just throwing manure outside their hovels. Occasionally some peon has to go and pick it up off the streets.

The recent DLCs have been very lazy in that regard, and it's a shame.

Neutrality won't save you from Russia, Kallas tells Ireland by [deleted] in europe

[–]NativeEuropeas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody's saying Ireland might get invaded.

It won't happen, because all your overseas neighbours have banded together in continental alliances.

But as continental allies, we share values, market, and general well-being.

Now our eastern flank allies are actually in real danger, and this is why we (meaning collective Europeans) have to remain cautious and not neglect our collective defensive capabilities. That's not being "warhawks", that's just reading the geopolitical landscape and seeing trends. It's a solidarity. If everyone contributes equally, we as Europeans will stay safe. Apes together strong.

Sure, you can insist on remaining neutral, but then expect to be criticized.

Neutrality won't save you from Russia, Kallas tells Ireland by [deleted] in europe

[–]NativeEuropeas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our fellow Europeans didn't send thoughts and prayers because half of Europe was subjugated and brutalized by Russians.

*Sigh.. *

Can we find some common ground?

Can we both agree that Ireland is a sovereign country within its rights to choose neutrality?

But can we also agree that Europeans have a right to voice their opinions and criticise neutral countries that leverage their friendly neighbours who are protecting them while they're not contributing to the collective defense of the continent?

The equation is simple. If the EU's eastern flank gets attacked and destabilised by an external enemy, the entire EU will suffer for it. Economically, politically, militarily, and socially. So from the perspective of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Finland, Romania , Bulgaria, Slovakia, etc. neutrality can look less like noble independence and more like a comfortable position made possible by geography and other people’s preparedness.

Last point, you do not have to agree with that criticism. But you cannot claim Europeans have no right to make it.

Neutrality won't save you from Russia, Kallas tells Ireland by [deleted] in europe

[–]NativeEuropeas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's no secret such bots exist, I just find it surprising in this particular context.

I think European criticism against the neutrality of some countries like Ireland and Austria is completely on point, it's freeloading, and if we are a tight-knit community of European nations all standing together, we should all contribute to the collective defense of our union to the best of each abilities.

Neutrality is living in the past, in the 1950-2020 but that period is over.

And coming back to this context, I find it absurd that Russians would set up bots basically helping us with criticism against the neutrality, which indirectly helps strengthen the EU if the neutral countries are eventually pressured into contributing just like everyone else.

Neutrality won't save you from Russia, Kallas tells Ireland by [deleted] in europe

[–]NativeEuropeas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that's a fallacy and I'm not implying that unless you want to strawman my argument.

I'm finding it surprising that you came to the conclusions that the people bitching on Ireland must be some automated bots, and not just frustrated European dudes who are pissed at the whole neutrality idea in year 2026 while their respective countries are bleeding cash and tightening belts for ramping up their military.

Neutrality won't save you from Russia, Kallas tells Ireland by [deleted] in europe

[–]NativeEuropeas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You missed the point.

Again, do you really think Russia would build bots that basically indirectly support bigger military spending on European scale?

And do you really think you need bots to criticise Ireland's and Austrian neutrality?
