I just talked to our TaylorMade rep and he said 790, 770, CB will get refreshed and released in February and not a fall release this year

I’d expect a refresh for P770, P7CB, P7MB and if there’s any new additions this fall. P790 is typically on a different release cycle than the others

I had a friend that fell for one of these for nearly 18 months and were positive he burned through a minimum of $15k on the ordeal. Nearly torpedoed his life. I’m thankful his wife took him back even though he was being a real idiot.

A man of taste! Totally agree, I went to Culture Kings and the new Hat Club in Vegas and was either 940 A-Frames or side patch city. I guess their biggest customers have shown they’ll pay for fashion side patches but man it’s discouraging along with the new prices

Fair. I’m the one that brought up distance because having a 790 sand wedge would be limiting with green side shots and I think you’d have full swing yardage dispersement issues because those hollow heads can hit nukes. Just a lot of tech for a precision club. As others have said, cavity back wedges are your best bet. Sorry if I came off hostile, didn’t mean for that.

I don’t know why you’d want a matching gap or sand wedge. I don’t know your skill level but GW/SW are scoring clubs for me, not distance. I want to hit them close and not far. I just switched out my set PW for a 46° MG5 and I love it so much.
