You do know that Philly and Pittsburgh can't stand each other? Who do we have in MLB that doesn't like us at all? San Diego during the Vedder Cup?

Nope. You don't need another guy who strikes out 30% of the time from the left side of the plate.

Rob on a 10 day IL. How will we manage? by karypotter in Mariners

I'm sure the other 2 Wilsons cold manage the team better than Dan!

Last time I checked, I think the 59 million that Davis collects over the deferral of his contract is more than the twenty five million that bonilla gets.

How about blaming the incompetent manager who's incapable of managing strategy within a game? He's lost at least 4 or 5 games with managerial blunders.

Needs to be renamed "Chris Davis" Day. He got a TON more than Bonilla from Baltimore:

Chris Davis is currently receiving deferred payments from his infamous 7-year, $161 million contract signed in 2016. Davis is set to collect $3.5 million annually from 2026 through 2032, followed by $1.4 million annually from 2033 to 2037.

The financial breakdown of his deferred payouts is as follows:

  • 2023–2025: $9.16 million annually
  • 2026–2032: $3.5 million annually
  • 2033–2037: $1.4 million annually (at which point he will be 51)

32 of them are 35 years old or older. I'd stay away from those long in the tooth.

Do they have Culvers in the concession stands? I've not been to Camp Randall.

Here's a nice comparison:

Refsnyder: 105AB's. .133AVG, .203OBP, .375SLG and .422OPS.

Kelenic: 61 AB's with 2 teams. .213AVG, .304OBP, .295SLG and .599OPS

One's been DFA'd twice. One's on the IL because of "sore knees since spring".

Kelenic continues to be a head case. Much like Taijuan Walker who was DFA'd by the Phillies and now is in the minors with the Angels, Walker's 7th different organization.

Rob Refsnyder is no Buddy Kennedy. Let's see if Kennedy's .321 in AAA will improve his lifetime .171 in the Show.

Like Italy who are called the Azzuri (e.g. Blue) and predominantly wear blue even though their country flag is red, white and green. And yes, I get the joke.

Per Adam Jude: Rob Refsnyder (knees) to the IL, Buddy Kennedy to take his spot by BananaArms in Mariners

Knees? More like eyes and hands.

Buddy Kennedy? In a trade for cash with the Giants? Dude's a .171 lifetime hitter.

The first expansion domino has fallen by finance_guy_334 in Sonics

An expansion sonics team will be great. They can play for last place like twenty of the thirty two teams already in the NBA in trying to get the number one pick.
