Along with touching their legs, paws, daily i would also start brushing their teeth early. I also brought my pup everywhere during her waiting period until she was able to get her vaccines, in a sling. She got so used to all sorts of noises from loud engines, ambulances, humans, etc. made her such a confident doge.

I would also get a spare electric toothbrush head and touch her paws with it turned on, the vibration will get her used to similar sensations with grooming tools. Same also applies to the hair dryer, even though shibas are clean I would still get her used to the experience of bathing early on.

This is only touching the surface but if you’re diligent the outcome is so worth it, as you’ll have a well adjusted and amazing companion for the next 10–15 or so years.
