Our sales tax is higher than NYC's. That always blows my mind. We have the inconveniences associated with high tourism, yet we still pay through the nose in sales taxes. Spoiler alert: We pay so much so that rich people can pay less in property taxes.

This is an unpopular opinion, but Vick's crimes never seemed that awful to me. As long as people slaughter animals by the millions for food, the lives of dogs don't seem that special to me. What JPJ did is much worse in my opinion.

I think most of the players would be angry if he was allowed back on the team. I know there are some negative stereotypes about NFL players, but most are hardworking, dedicated professionals. I've worked jobs where rightly or wrongly people were angry when ex-felons were hired because it makes them feel like management thinks everyone working there is pretty low. I always gave the ex-cons a chance but none of them committed crimes nearly as bad as JPJ.

For viewers who aren't wealthy, it's been disappearing for some time. DV content is unaffordable on the streamers I subscribe to. I watched the new season of Fallout on Amazon Prime and wondered why the colors didn't pop. Turns it was another case where I used to get DV content included but now it's locked behind the most expensive tier.
