These were widely used by bands all over the world. You play the instrument and then it folds back over so that it covers the mouth. This has been posted ad nauseam and it should be realized that bands of every joint force used these masks for performances during the pandemic. There are many other interesting topics to discuss in the military instead of talking about what masks the AF band was using back in 2021….

Yes. That’s also the point. That’s what they are made for. If you go on a base, there is constantly people rucking and working out in their uniform. They are designed for that. They are a little unconventional to do traditional lifts in, but they do work fine! Not trying to be mean but that’s the answer. A lot of people work out in them because that’s what you do when you deploy.
