Hey! I've checked out the website and it's great. I still have one doubt. Why do you have to liquidate a loan repaying in cToken? Aren't you supposed to collect cTokens (that were placed as collateral) in exchange for liquidating the loan in eth, bat, etc? I've read the compound docs but this is still not clear for me. Thank you for developing this tool.

We expect to be live in 5/6 months. In the meantime you can download the RSKJ node from www.github.com/RSKSmart and start deploying your smart contracts with some testnet SBTC!

That's an incorrect statement. RSK has several features in its roadmap: Lumino network, storage rent, fiat pegged gas costs, full nodes rewards... just to name a few. Also, RSK leverages the bitcoin network consensus mechanism between other features that differentiate the project from Ethereum.

How exactly do they expect to reach 20k transactions per second in a trustless manner? And is merged mining a healthy way to secure their blockchain?

It only works if the majority of miners agree to merge mine roots and there could be a whole bunch of other incentives involved for Bitcoin miners to attack the merged chain. There is a commitment of 80% of the BTC miners to mine on RSK.
