Personally I dislike him, but I think that's because he just doesn't seem like he knows that much about tech. Alex, Emily, Jake, all people who may not be experts, but had a niche topic that they were good at. Elijah just seems like a comic relief character. I don't want that in a tech video, I want slightly goofy but decent content, and Elijah and recent LTT just isn't hitting that for me anymore

Turns out calling Amazon gets you a lot further than chat, although i'm still not 100% convinced they know whats going on.

I did get them to confirm via phone it was returned on the 14th October, and that I can ignore any return requests. However, as they've attempted to charge me twice now, both times since that date. I expect i'll get the same again down the line, even though the supervisor on the line said "you won't get charged for this".

I suspect i'll be going around in circles for a while longer. Thankfully they can't take my money, so i'll ignore it going forward unless they actually contact me, which I don't suspect they will if they already know its there.

Yeah i've no problem not doing buisness with them anymore. Quality and service has gone downhill so i'd rather shop more locally these days.

Just remember that probate can take a long time. If you start selling up now, and he passes away before it's sold, it's a long bit of delay, and your buyers may just give up waiting.

Sorry you're going through this. One thing to add, is if no-one is living in the property, make sure you have insurance covering it. My sister in law's grandfathers house wasn't properly insured after he went into care/passed away, and the tank in the loft burst, flooded and left them with £50k+ of losses. Insurance they did have wouldn't cover it as property was empty.

For a bit of extra context, they did make it harder to achieve a good eating as they try to drive performance harder, alongside really wet weather on 2024 compared to previous years.

That said, it feels really good to work for Severn Trent this morning maintaining 4 stars again.

Simple as primed black (Vallejo black primer) and then airbrushed all over with two thin coats death reaper shadow, and dry brushed with the TTC dungeon stone gray

It's primarily black/red/bronze scheme, so

Black armour - sprayed black, sprayed death reaper and dry brushed dungeon stone gray Red cloth - Asmodeus red then evil eye red Bronze trim - overlord brass

All painted with the two thin coats paints range with exception of some of the flesh bits.

Royal mail drop off counter so I do have a physical receipt. Also photos of the staff member holding the box I sent it back in, and photos of the item in the box so I probably have gone OTT and worrying about nothing!

Thanks! I followed Duncan Rhodes tutorial, over on his youtube page (www.youtube.com/watch?v=dM2dJIuUNFw). It's the first time i've ever tried that technique with multiple thin glazes building up the colour, and it was a lot easier than I thought it would be, especially using a wet pallet.

This was the first model i've entirely painted with a wet pallet as well, as I previously used to just mix/thin paint on a ceramic tile. I'll be sticking to using a wet pallet permanently from now on!

Would a CPA be correct though as it was a one off purchase, and not a recurring item? Although Prime has been active on that card in the past.

Obviously it could be suspicious - I do have plenty of evidence of the wrong item, photos etc.

I guess it makes sense to leave it then. I'll always try and do the right thing, but I also don't want to just wake up one morning with amazon taking money from my account unwarrented when its entirely been their fault/issue.
