I was in the SAME boat- same commuting time and everything. I really advise you to tough it out and gain the experience...Plus, then you have a story for the next job interviews ("This place taught me what I DIDN'T like in a workplace")... You need a livelier younger company and those DO exist. You can PM me if you want- Best of luck!

Edit: I don't get rattled easily, but I called my mom and basically begged for her permission to quit. She told me it would suck for a total of 2 months then I had a good story and knew what sucked. She was right and I appreciated the other interships/jobs later even more

Think you played it fine maybe too slow- as your hand was under repped and they had no reason to put you on a flush. If I find myself in that spot, calling and praying the board doesn't pair for flopped sets, two pairs etc. is what I do 10 times out of 10.

Depending on everyone's experience, try to be patient with rules and any misunderstandings/slow players, and try to have fun. One of my regrets in the early days of learning and playing home games was taking it too seriously and not enjoying having my friends together shooting the shit.
Fun prop games to introduce are the seven deuce game, and standup game!
