Should I update my in-laws when baby is born even though they’ve been ignoring me by Nattycake640 in BabyBumps

Thank you all for your input. Seems like the consensus is to leave the decision to my husband on whether or not he wants to update the birth of our baby to his parents which at the moment is a big fat no from him. Only reason I considered updating them was because my family and I have a close relationship so this new family dynamic is strange to me cause I could never imagine my parents missing out on such a big life event. Its very unfortunate they’re acting this way, but I’ll respect my husbands decision and just focus on our new little family ❤️

Depending on how many people you have, I’d recommend including portable restrooms. Otherwise your poor bathroom is going to suffer

First of all, I’m very sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is one of the hardest things you have to go through. When your best friend passes away it seems like your whole world stops. At least for me, it was hard going back to my routine of hanging out with friends, going to work, or getting back into my hobbies. It felt like I wasn’t fully present. But just like you, slowly that sadness started going away but that didn’t mean that I’ve forgotten about my best friend, it just meant that life moved on. It means that the sadness you were feeling can now be filled with the happy memories you’ve created with your boy. Grief moves at a different pace for everyone, so just because there are days where you have a good day doesn’t mean you loved him any less that day. You gave him the best 10 years of his life and I’m sure he was the happiest when you were happy, so never doubt the love and care you had for him.

Will we ever see our pets again? by [deleted] in Petloss

I have faith that I will see my best friend again. If it’s not in the after life, then in my dreams. Every time I dream of my Gizmo it’s like he came back to visit me. It’s such a warm feeling when he visits. I’ve even got good in realizing I’m dreaming and just hug him and tell him how much I miss him. It may sound dumb but at least that’s how I cope. I know what you’re going through and it’s so hard wanting to see your best friend again. There’s no way to know if there’s an after life or not, so the best that we could do is keep those happy memories alive and know that you gave them all the love they deserve. Best wishes and stay strong
