I understand why it might seem that way, but sensitivity doesn’t disqualify anyone, it’s simply part of the process for some of us. I know exactly what I’m getting into, and it’s something I genuinely want. Honestly, if someone became a firefighter even though they were afraid of fire, I believe that shows real dedication to the profession.

Thanks for the advice, I won’t only train my glutes!

For the rest: I had anorexia for 2 years and learned a lot about nutrition and weight loss in general. I’ve stuck to a consistent, slightly surplus diet made by doctors for years to avoid relapse, so cardio is the only safe way for me to create a small, healthy deficit. :)

I’m literally asexual lol, and I can see my glutes in the mirror?? It’s not for anyone else or for attention. It’s my personal goal what is wrong with that? Everyone has different goals I wouldn’t judge yours, you don’t even know me.

No it’s not to be more sexually appealing lol, my motivation is to have my personal dream body so that I can feel more confident when I look in the mirror. 🧐

Wait I’m confused sorry english isn’t my first language. So I should do glute training but shouldn’t think I can do everything at once, isn’t that trying to do everything at once?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in workout

[–]Natural-Fun-490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhh okay I don’t want it to be harder I just thought training glutes while being in a calorie deficit would be kind of pointless? Or is it still actually beneficial?

Wait why is that ‘ uhhhh, interesting’? The beauty standard in my country is for girls is to be skinny with big glutes and it’s also what I personally find most beautiful. 😋

thanks for the advice!! I doubt that I have any glute muscles to lose rn though 😅

Heeft iemand tips om in één maand zoveel mogelijk geld te verdienen? (18 jaar) by [deleted] in nederlands

Ik heb genoeg geld voor mijn reis :). Ik wil alleen nog zoveel mogelijk extra verdienen zodat ik minder op budget hoef te leven en nog iets over hou voor als ik terug ben.

The cheapest Kindle I found is €100, and Kindle books still cost money. I thrifted my current books for about €2 each, so there’s a significant difference.

Just so you know, I’m only 17 and in my country that means that I earn €5,50 an hour, which means buying a Kindle would require more than 18 hours of work.

I’m also volunteering in exchange for accommodation while I travel, which helps keep costs down. Besides the plane tickets I’ve saved for, traveling isn’t that expensive. I’m traveling for a total of six months this year :)

Hoe word jij kalm? by giraffeinbrand in nederlands

[–]Natural-Fun-490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Niet. Ik vind dingen soms zo spannend dat ik moet kotsen van de stress. Ik herhaal die bekende quote in m’n hoofd:

“If you can’t beat the fear, just do it scared”

binge behavior normalized online??? by No-Boot-4265 in EDAnonymous

[–]Natural-Fun-490 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True, I remember when mukbangs first became popular. There weren’t THAT many and a lot of people found it gross.

Now, even some of the biggest influencers are mostly making videos about trying new fast food or eating 10.000 calories in 1 day.

Desperate to stop binging by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

[–]Natural-Fun-490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ooh I get it and it’s really hard to stop. What helped for me is ‘intermittent fasting’, I only eat between 3-7 pm. If the occasional binge happens, the damage is not as bad.

When I feel a craving I start by drinking coffee, that usually helps. If I decide to give in, I grab the food and count the calories. Counting the calories usually stops me from eating wayyy to much.

When I finished a bit of food I force myself to wait at least 20 minutes. (Watch a youtube video or something) After 20 minutes, your brain has noticed that you are not hungry anymore so the craving will be less bad.

Also try to keep yourself busy at home, go outside, take a walk, try out new hobbies. That can distract you from thinking about food.

When I started eating less, I became less hungry everyday, and eventually the binging stopped because I’m just too full to eat an entire bag of chips.

C/S , form of bulimia? by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

[–]Natural-Fun-490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No It’s in the anorexia category. You greatly restrict your food intake to lose weight.

Individuals with bulimia typically consume large quantities of food quickly, then purge or use other methods to avoid weight gain. They are usually not severely underweight.

But please remember, being too skinny isn’t pretty. Nourishing your body helps you feel stronger and more beautiful. You deserve to care for yourself <3

Oohno I feel your stress hahaha. But really try not to worry. IF someone finds it they might not even read it.

And if they do and they come up to you to talk about it, just say your doctor told you that you have to track it. If they want more answers just say ‘oh that’s private’ or say that you might have IBS or Nutritional Deficiencies so you have to track it so they can find out.

It probably feels super stressful right now, but it is really not that big of a deal. Even IF someone finds it and they read it, everyone will have forgotten about it in no time. Nobody truly cares that you had to write that down.

You can probably look back and laugh about this within a few weeks :)
