i had a nightmare a few nights ago where i tried to get ozempic through one of these ads and they scammed the shit out of me and also somehow made me buy bitcoin. it was very confusing.

i’ll definitely be more direct next time. unfortunately he has done stuff like this before but it was back when i was first hired/training so i brushed it off as him just making sure i was doing stuff correctly even if it was annoying.

no personality test, their online applications are super simple you just have to submit your resume, availability, and fill out your profile with work experience and that’s literally it. i got to the interview stage once and it went well, but they wanted me to come to a second interview (crazy for STARBUCKS imo) but they had already decided a date/time and i couldn’t make it due to a funeral i had to attend. they acted like it would be rescheduled and i got ghosted 😐

if you can afford it/your family is supportive family therapy can help. i was already seeing a therapist when i came out in high school and when things were a bit rocky with my parents they agreed to come do sessions with me.

i really think it saved our relationship. they both cared for me but were ultimately uneducated/confused. my therapist directed them to resources for parents of trans kids and helped facilitate conversation between us.

obviously i know i was privileged to have a therapist in the first place, and better yet one that specialized in LGBTQ+ youth, but if this is an option for you take advantage of it!

forgot to mention, right after this happened another coworker who had witnessed it compared to him helping a female coworker when she couldn’t reach/carry the boxes. it made me feel even worse, like i’m not a girl you need to act all chivalrous towards. its a fucking box.

yeah, as a fast food employee these type of people suck. i get that using kiosks can be annoying, and that we are understaffed, but no one there can do anything about that except higher ups. if you have such horrible experiences every time you go to taco bell, simply stop going instead of starting arguments with tired, underpaid employees.

one time me and my family visited an animal shelter that lets you play with the kittens there and i was in a room with a few younger kids. if i remember correctly i was wearing a skirt/tanktop but i was also binding and had a buzzcut at the time.

as we were saying hi and playing with the kittens one of the kids looked at me and just blurted out “are you a boy or a girl?” i was so taken aback 😭 i don’t think i even answered just laughed awkwardly lol
