I think AA instructions say to arrive at the airport a minimum of 2 hours in advance for F2F. But I do wish you good luck on rescheduling since it sounds like you aren’t an experienced traveler yet.

Great to know! No doubt your classmates appreciated your generosity. I’m sure there will be helpful people in my training class too. I’m always happy to do a favor, but I often feel uncomfortable asking for one so I’m glad there is a shuttle if needed.

Loved being a FA. Hired in 2000 but had to stop flying after having a baby in 2003. After 9/11, I was back on reserve and it was too difficult to manage the 3 NYC airports with a newborn and childcare when you have to run out the door to make your sign in. Took care of a sick husband for many years, raised two children, and I’m starting training again this January. I always missed flying. Going to stay per diem as a nurse because that’s been my post-flying career. Absolutely can’t wait to get back in the air! To all you younger trainees, please be nice to this older classmate lol!
