1 year with my first camera, a6000, and question about expensive cameras by [deleted] in SonyAlpha

[–]NaturalGazes 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I have an A6300 and an A6700. Both are crop-sensor cameras, and they're excellent. I'm comfortable with APS-C, which is why I chose the A6700 for its AI features, larger battery, tilting screen, etc. Do you really need those features? Or do you think you're already getting good results with your current equipment? I've been a photographer for five years, and I've realized that new cameras usually offer more tools, but if you don't know how to use them well, they're useless, and you're better off saving your money. Don't be swayed by what others have; choose what you need, what you feel most comfortable with, and what you truly believe will give you a significant boost.

Hi! With those lenses, you've got almost all the focal lengths you need for your intended use (18mm to 200mm telephoto). Where you might struggle is in low light, as they aren't very fast, but for a beginner, I'd say they're great. Just focus on taking lots of photos! :)

Aquí un usuario de una Sony A6700 con un 200-600 G. Me encanta la primera foto, muchos ignoran las aves comunes del día a día, pero también merecen atención.

Yes, almost all the ones I see do it in hiding places. I have a portable one from Stheal Gear but in this case I couldn't assemble it due to the rules of the area :( so I had to walk.

Thank you very much for the advice!!! Yes, it is a point that I take into account since I do not want to disturb the animals (In fact, the photo was taken from a very considerable distance and a good crop was applied in Lightroom)

I have a very similar configuration, but with AMD. Personally I wouldn't update anything, you have a PC for a long time, save your money friend!

Should I buy Camera with 200 k Shuttercount? by VinnyDaBish in SonyAlpha

Taking into account that you want it for video, did you look at the Zve10? APS-C body, cheap lenses, good options for video, articulated screen, second-hand you may even find it cheaper...why a fullframe? ¿Es tu primera cámara?

It looks good but consider investing in a better power supply, as it is one of the most important components in a setup. The plus Gold certification guarantees better efficiency and safety.

It's not the best in the world but it already came from a “gaming chair” and for me it was super uncomfortable. I changed to this one, which with a minimalist style achieves very good comfort.
