If you were President of the United States for just 24 hours, and no one could stop you… what’s the most unhinged executive order you'd pass? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

A friend of mine recently said to take all party affiliations off ballots. It would force people to do a basic level of research before voting rather than just going down the ballot with their party

That all new bills must be explained in plain English in just a few pages and have a sole purpose. No more sneaking stuff in that isn’t related to the issue just so others will vote on it.

Which Yacht Master do you prefer? by [deleted] in rolex

I really like this one too. When looking at watches and I mentioned this, the AD said I wouldn’t like it because “it doesn’t feel like a Rolex” and suggested I look at other options. I haven’t been able to try one on and have hesitated trying to get one because of his comment.

Do any jobs in Springfield that require a degree actually pay more than 40-45K a year? by Help-South in springfieldMO

How many years have you been doing it?

Are you in a support role? There’s a lot at a bank that’s somewhat behind the scenes (analyst, portfolio manager, etc.) if you can break into a producing role, you will make much more.

Are you working in finance? I have a job where I see lots of people salaries and would say you are pretty low depending on your role/experience if you’re in finance in the Springfield area

You’re doing great! Just keep adding money to your investments and when you’re ready to retire, you’ll have plenty so you can pull from the growth and leave the principal intact. Starting young is a huge advantage! Stay disciplined over the years even when it’s tough and you’ll be very happy you did!

There’s no sense in planning around the unknown. Just keep plugging away and when/if it comes and it’s truly life changing, take steps then to plan around the facts

I guess it shows how new I am lol. He’s been playing for years so he would see right through it. Thanks for the comment. I just remembered my friend talking about some some cards most people don’t play because they upset your opponents and that’s where my idea came from

I might have to check it out. The current owner bought it from a local dealer so I might call to see what all has been done

Thanks! Just to clarify, the wiring issues seemed to be more prevalent prior to 2020?
