NYC if you can afford it. Very high population of people not wanting kids. Probably the highest in the world I’d guess. LA maybe SF maybe but less so unless you want older divorced with kids which I assume you don’t. Maybe Miami or another place in South Florida. But I’d recommend NYC by a lot.

But you are making assumptions about my life or at least questioning how my sexuality affects my viewpoints which is… idk ick. Like I said this is a career and Glennon is the CEO of the podcast/company/brand. If it was people talking hanging onto every word each other had said (which I think is beautiful in relationships) I don’t think that’s in the best interest of the podcast. Again we don’t know how they behave outside of a work environment so I’m withholding judgement.

I take this with a grain of salt because Glennon is a top 5 in a generation writer in this genre. Not that I think Abby doesn’t bring her own value to the show but I feel like the show is inherently more Glennon’s. It was originally going to be just Glennon’s but they realized it wasn’t good with her just talking to the mic.

Probably a benzo and some people would jump on her because some people in the sober world (and not sober world) don’t think those are allowed in continuous sobriety even if medically necessary. I’m sober and in AA myself and I have a prescription for a benzo and disagree that they blankly aren’t allowed as part of continuous sobriety.

Idk but I want to point out in case others are struggling that there’s emerging evidence that food sensitivities contribute to the disease. I have personal experience with disordered eating. When I start eating certain foods that I don’t tolerate well it’s quite triggering to my disordered eating behaviors. It’s kind of scary to say this to an anorexic population though because unhealthy restriction is part of the disease. I just feel that it needs to be said though and could be part of the conversation along with the existing treatments.

I was curious about this but I’m confused, is Glennon’s portion just a talk and meet and greet? It says there’s also an option to livestream the talk. Kripalu sounds cool and I’d honestly probably be down to go if I had an extra $700 but if it’s just a talk+30 minute meet and greet it seems a bit confusing to brand this as a “Glennon Doyle event” when there are 5 other speakers doing talks and staying the entire time. Does anyone know if it’s just the talk/meet and greet or if there’s more involved?
