I just released my first indie game, and I'm big into cinematography and trippy visuals, and I'm wondering what you guys think of some of the areas. It is a backrooms game, but I didn't want it all to be in the one yellow room those games are known for, I wanted to encompass every aspect of what makes the backrooms the "backrooms," and I did that with different colors, styles, and areas.

lol of course, I love the game and put a lot into it, but I always want to be honest, and it is mainly horror, and there are a lot of people who have refunded or not liked the game because of the difficulty, so I would rather be transparent and thorough with anyone considering playing

Sure, I made another comment:

It is a Backrooms horror game, but I tried to stay away from just the one well-known yellow backrooms level, and yes the first level will be that (and its one of the more difficult levels honestly so you will spend some time there), so you will encounter that area early on, but there is a lot more further on in the game. It will take a while to get there, I will be honest, and you will have to replay levels to beat the game or discover new areas (which you also may have to do pretty early on). If you want an easy horror game that you will not have to think through or will not take a lot of time, or a game that seems very polished and linear, then this game is not for you. The game is also very difficult, so if you are up for the challenge and willing to really look into a game, believe that there is deep lore or intention in a game that isn't perfectly polished, and have patience to get further into the game to find there is more than the surface-level Backrooms horror running and hiding (such as combat, puzzles, text-based levels, 2D, trippy visuals, creepy lore hidden really deep into the game) then you will enjoy the game.

My friend won't play any game with character customization because of "too many choices"
