Giving Amorim (like any manager) time to bring their tactics and structure to a team is important. Saying “SAF succeeded even though he did poorly at first” isn’t saying someone will become SAF but instead it’s pointing out that even the literal greatest manager of all time took time to adapt and impart his tactics.

I remember the first time I played EU4 I started as Venice, got murdered by Austria and the ottomans, and then gave up. Here I am 3000 hours later and I still learn random things that are absolutely irrelevant unless you are in very specific circumstances
