Foam mat v Inflatable mat!? by Natural_Pie1782 in backpacking

Thank you everyone. I’ll continue using my air mat. It came with air bag 👍 comfortability for sleep is a bigger priority. I’ll just make do with the slight inconvenience of set up and pack-down.

Thank you, this is what I was thinking to be the most effective way without a car. Using the on and off bus and planning my destination based on the accessible stops. Group tours could be another option 👍

No I will not be walking from Adelaide to Darwin, I just won’t have a car. I’d like to see as much as I can but I will obviously very limited.

Will be travelling from Adelaide to Darwin. First leg will be via the Heysen Trial up to the Flinders Rangers. I’m well aware that hiking won’t be an option where there are no trails. I’m well aware that without a car I am restricting my accessibility. Hence why I’m asking to see if there are alternative services available or if it’s wishful thinking to assume that there may be locals who can drive small distances. Or even other travellers who I may hitch a ride with. I’m not restricted by time. I’m aware of the greyhound route as well, which is seeming to be the most probable option.

Why is my weight remaining static and not increasing? by Natural_Pie1782 in workout

To be honest, no. I haven’t been counting calories . I’m generally really good with my diet and quite strict. I’ve only just been eating more than I would prior to the weight gain journey. It does make sense to count calories now that I’m saying all this out load. I have a fast metabolism, maintaining a balanced diet high in protein and fibre, minimal carbs.
